Optima D27M Blue Top Battery: The D27M is a powerful deep cycle battery with dimensions a bit larger than the D34M. The Optima D27M has standard automotive top posts plus 5/16" threaded stainless steel studs (also on top) for flat loop connectors. The D27M is at home in the marine environment, but this Optima Blue Top battery also works great for automotive uses as well as portable power. Includes a strong, comfortable, removable carrying strap. Deep cycle batteries are built to withstand repeated deep discharging (down to 10.5 volts) without premature failure. This makes them perfect for applications that draw batteries down before they can be fully recharged, -- uses like car audio, trolling motors, marine accessories and off road winches. In such applications, one deep cycle battery will typically last as long as two to ten conventional batteries. Deep cycle batteries get the toughest work, and no other battery in the world is up to the challenge like the OPTIMA deep cycle battery.
The OPTIMA deep cycle battery's superior structure and components provide dramatically lower internal resistance and far greater plate surface area, and support a thicker layer of active paste material.
